The Living Room at Woodside

The Living Room at the Park Lane Centre, Woodside

A newly registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) – The Living Room at Woodside – will take over the running of the former Youth Suite at the Park Lane Centre from 1st April 2017 onwards.

The Living Room will be run for the benefit of residents of Woodside and Madeley, with space and facilities for all ages.  A youth club is being run on Wednesday evenings from 7.00 to 9.00 and the very popular Messy Church sessions are on the third Thursday of the month from 3.30 to 5.30.

The Living Room project will bring together volunteers from Madeley Baptist Church and the Church of England on Woodside, working together to provide activities and a welcoming place for the residents of Woodside and Madeley.

Telford & Wrekin Council will be providing financial support for the first three years and further financial assistance is also being provided by the Heart of England Baptist Association and the Diocese of Hereford.

The Living Room is going to be officially opened at 12 noon on Saturday 1st April 2017 by Richie Woodhall, Former World Super Middleweight Champion, who was brought up on Woodside.  There will be free activities for all ages and refreshments.
