Madeley Town Council Mayor; Cllr Sarah Chadwick and Cllr Paul Watling presented Hermitage Way Care Home with 4 Kindles for residents to use to download books. They are linked to the libraries, it is all free. They can also be used to face-time/skype family or friends.
The Town Council have donated £2,000 each towards Telford & Wrekin’s #KindleKindness campaign, which aims to deliver the devices to those in need.
Presentations were also made to the Willows in the High Street and the The Old School House in Church Street.
